Known for known for transforming simple foods into culinary masterpieces, Solomonov takes viewers into people’s kitchens—and their lives—to discuss their roots and inspirations, and preserving the traditions of their grandmothers, while updating recipes with global influences. Israel today is home to people of such diverse cultures, and Solomonov seeks out contemporary Israel’s diverse food cultures: from areas near the Lebanese, Syrian, and Egyptian borders to Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee; to Ezuz, a tiny outpost in the harsh Negev desert; and to the hip and happening Tel Aviv.
