An extraordinary true saga about Egyptian-Jewish triplets whose lives are shrouded in tender secrets. An engrossing melodrama, the film's strength lies in an emotional script and stellar ensemble cast, notably from Israel's acclaimed performer Gila Almagor. Three Mothers won awards for Best Cinematography and Costumes at the 2006 Israeli Academy Awards, and received six other nominations, including Best Picture.
