About The Film

On an icy winter night, Lena shows up on the doorstep of the Rossberg family mansion, claiming her car has broken down, but her arrival is intentional. In pursuit of an elderly former Auschwitz guard (Michael Degen, HANNAH ARENDT), who lives with his daughter Maria (Elisabeth Degen, AIMÉE & JAGUAR), Lena is determined to get him to confess to a past he and his daughter deny.

Her vigilante efforts to extract a confession at gunpoint result in a twisted cat-and-mouse game, as the three characters enter a standoff fraught with moral complexities and shocking revelations. Powerhouse performances and a taut script fuel this edge-of-the-seat psychological thriller and chamber drama about wartime guilt and culpability across generations.
