About The Film

Trapped between wanting to care for her grieving father and having a life of her own, Moos desperately wants to become a theater star. She spends her days singing into a steam iron while helping out at the family textile business until Sam, her childhood best friend, returns home during Hanukkah from serving in the Israeli army. With Sam back and in need of work, Moos finally has the chance to break free from familial demands and pursue her own dreams. To everyone’s surprise she auditions for the academy of performing arts where a handsome teacher encourages her but she lies about making the cut. Moos’ life has never been this complicated or exciting.
