No events for Sabena Hijacking - My Version

About The Film

A heart-pounding and riveting account of one of history’s most dramatic terrorist attacks, SABENA HIJACKING recounts the events of May 8, 1972, when members of Black September, an armed Palestinian terrorist wing, hijacked a Belgian aircraft. This powerful film stunningly weaves together cinematic re-enactments and rare archival footage with interviews from Israeli leaders involved in the rescue effort, as well as the only surviving hijacker.

This Ophir Award-nominated documentary pairs previously undiscovered audio recordings from the pilot with candid interviews from Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu, Ehud Barak, and Shimon Peres, who were all involved in the military rescue mission, as well as the last surviving hijacker.

A suspenseful and fast-paced docudrama, SABENA HIJACKING paints a vivid picture of events still relevant today and indicative of Israel’s ongoing resolve and self-determination.
