About Matzoh Momma Sunday Brunch & Film
SOLD OUT: SPECIAL EVENT BRUNCH & FILM TICKET - Film only tickets still available Jonathan Pryce (EVITA, BRAZIL) stars as Nat, a curmudgeonly Jewish widower desperately trying to save his London bakery. His customers are dying off, his sons have no interest in the family business, and a hostile businessman has his own agenda for the space. In a pinch, Nat reluctantly hires his cleaning lady’s son, teenager Ayyash, a refugee from Darfur. To help his struggling mother make ends meet, Ayyash starts selling cannabis out of the bakery. When he accidentally drops some into the dough one day, the challahs start flying off the shelves, and an unlikely friendship buds between the old Jewish baker and his young Muslim apprentice.
DOUGH is a warm-hearted, charming, and funny cross-cultural British dramedy about overcoming prejudice and finding redemption in unexpected places.
