Exhibit: “Jewish Life in Germany Today,” initiated and sponsored by the German Embassy in Washington, and co-organized by the Stroum JCC and the Consulate General of Germany in San Francisco. Numerous panels from this larger exhibition will be on display throughout the festival in celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Israel, telling the stories of Jewish authors, rabbis, entrepreneurs, students and community members who live in Germany today. Since the early 1990s, the Jewish population in Germany has grown sixfold and Berlin has become a magnet for young Israelis, and about 20,000 young Jews have chosen to live in Germany's capital - the subject of our Opening Night Film. 7:30 PM Intros & Film 9:30 PM Tom Douglas Dessert Party
