About The Film

This stylish Parisian thriller is set in the murky world of Nazi-looted art. After a chance encounter with a stolen painting, Esther Stegmann, a young journalist, embarks on a journey to recover family paintings stolen by the Nazis. She soon finds herself caught up in a web of lies, betrayal, and a concealed history that’s been carefully buried for decades by those closest to her.

Directed by François Margolin (who wrote THE FLIGHT OF THE RED BALLOON), this modern-day detective story features sumptuous shots of Paris and ravishing music.
